Jerray Vassell
Analyst
Before joining the team, Jerray was with the Public Lands Commission, where she assisted in regulating the use of public land and enforcing beach access rights. Before this, she was at the Department of Health Regulatory Services as the Compliance Secretary to the Health Practice Commission and its Councils.
She has contributed to the healthcare industry in the Cayman Islands such as being a part of the team that facilitated the legalization of the use of cannabis for medical purposes, research review (clinical trials), regulating healthcare practitioners, and assisting business owners to establish healthcare facilities. She has a vast knowledge of healthcare regulation in the Cayman Islands.
Jerray has a keen interest in compliance and regulation. Her passions are empowering and helping others and learning. She brings strong leadership skills, and an efficient communication style, problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking.
She has a Master of Public Administration degree from Walden University and a Bachelors of Social Science from the University College of the Cayman Islands.
In her spare time, she is often found in the kitchen, or on a beach. She enjoys painting and relishes spending time with loved ones. She likes to think that her strong ties to her community and family have helped shape the individual she has become today. It is this connection to her community that drives and motivates Jerray in all that she does.
