General traffic data is collected via the Ombudsman website. Any statistics produced are based on aggregated data from which no details of any individual visitor can be traced. The Ombudsman site does not automatically capture or store personal data from visitors to the site other than to record session information such as the most popular pages visited and the nature of the browser used. This information is used only for the administration of the site system and in the compilation of general statistics used by our office to assess the use of the site.
