Sam brings over 18 years of experience in the criminal justice field to her role as an Investigator with the Complaints Team at the Office of the Ombudsman. Prior to joining the Office of the Ombudsman, Sam served as both a Probation Officer and Senior Probation Officer in London and the Cayman Islands, where she developed a strong foundation in case management, public service, and ethical oversight.

Holding degrees in Criminology and Sociology (BA) and Criminal Justice Studies (BSc), Sam combines academic insight with real-world experience to carry out thorough, fair, and impartial investigations. She is known for her organised and methodical approach, and is committed to promoting high standards, accountability, and best practices across policing services.

Sam is driven by a deep commitment to public service and works to ensure that every complaint is handled with integrity, professionalism, and respect for all parties involved.
