Renewal of a Dentist's License to Practice Dentistry

A dental surgeon complained about the MDC's failure to renew his full-time practicing license in a timely fashion. He submitted his application for renewal in December 2018; however, it remained unprocessed nin months later and emails from his attorney went unanswered.
We met with the registrar of the HRS to discuss the complaint and two days later a non-practicing license was issued. The dental surgeon was advised that once he could satisfy the MDC that he was practicing with a registered health facility, he would be eligible for a practicing license.
